Tony Stewart’s exhibition Superstar Racing Knowledge has signed Tenting Planet as its title sponsor for its 2nd year.
Tenting Planet also was the title sponsor for the inaugural SRX season, and Tuesday’s announcement features a dedication from Tenting Environment to sponsor the No. 1 automobile that previous Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay will push.
SRX is a six-race brief-keep track of collection that runs on Saturday evenings and is demonstrated on CBS. The first race is at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, on June 18.
“Camping Earth is a spouse and children-oriented brand, which is a ideal match for me and my loved ones. My spouse and I truly love the RV-tenting working experience with our 3 young boys during the 12 months,” Hunter-Reay mentioned. “The SRX time is just all around the corner and I’m eagerly anticipating what is likely the most distinctive challenge I have at any time taken on in my racing profession.”
SRX this time will element Stewart, who started the collection with fellow NASCAR Hall of Famer Ray Evernham and captured the series’ first championship. Other drivers racing for the championship this year are Hunter-Reay, Paul Tracy, Bobby Labonte, Ryan Newman, Marco Andretti, Michael Waltrip and Greg Biffle.
Motorists competing in pick races are Tony Kanaan, Matt Kenseth, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Dave Blaney, Hailie Deegan, Helio Castroneves, Ernie Francis Jr. and Josef Newgarden.
SRX this calendar year will race at South Boston Speedway in Virginia, Stafford Motor Speedway in Connecticut, Nashville Fairgrounds in Tennessee, I-55 Raceway in Missouri and Sharon Speedway in Ohio.
