How to Stay Hydrated This Winter

It is true that the more your body sweats, the more necessary water you are losing and will need to replenish or suffer the wrath of dehydration.

Drink about half a cup of water for every fifteen minutes of exercise in order to rehydrate your body as quickly as you can. Then after your workout has concluded, push to drink one and a half times the fluid you lost while exercising over the following two to six hours post-workout. 

Layer Your Clothing 

Wear layers of breathable fabrics instead of heavy-duty woolen to minimize water loss caused by perspiration. When you are outside, you will appreciate having layers that you can peel off your body or put back on as the weather changes or your activities cause you to get warmer or colder.
